Acai Berry Trislim Program is scam
|
This is how Acai Berry Trislim looks like. You can see this scam on action here: trislimfree.com |
Trislim is not only a terrible name, but also a medication name used to scam people. Here is what the guys from Trislim say in their disclaimer:
By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. For questions regarding these Terms and conditions please contact us at 1-877-238-2124.If you are happy with your results from this 10-day free trial, we will automatically enroll you in our TriSlim Discount Autoship Program for $49.95 per month (40% discount), billed and shipped quarterly, plus $15.95 shipping, billed automatically to your credit card.
TO ALLOW FOR SHIPPING AND HANDLING YOUR TRISLIM QUARTERLY MEMBERSHIP IS ACTIVATED 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE YOUR TRIAL ORDER IS PLACED.
Same thing all over. Why do they have to automatically enroll you into anything? Can't they just play nice? And why are they using Wbmed's logo? They specifically say that Webmd is not affiliated in any way with them, so why bother? To give you an assurance, that's why. On this site, I hardly found the link to TOS page. Real jerks!
Look what scammed people say about Trislim Acai Berry:
- All you want is to try a "free" sample and you open the door to this company and it's "sister" companies making all kinds of additional charges from 50 cents to $149.85!!! NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!
- I also ordered a free trial and paid the shipping. After checking out, I was informed on the website that I would be charged automatically for the next shipment of 3 bottles and membership charges for two other "diet" help sites. I became so angry that I called them right away and told the representative that if their product worked then why would I need all these other memberships etc. I explained that all I wanted was the free trial. If their product worked then I'd continue with it. I also told them that I didn't trust that I would receive the trial product soon enough to have the full trial period they offered and that they needed to give me more time. They changed (or so said) my cancellation due date, giving me an extra week. They lied! Luckily I saw a charge of 149. going through my bank - not yet processed. I called my bank (Wachovia) and told them what happened. They called the number for TriSlim and we had a three way call. My bank did need their permission to remove the charge but they easily got the rep to do so with their intimidation. If this happens to you, get your bank involved because you'll get your money back a lot faster. By the way, I received the auto shipment two weeks later and I have not opened it and I'm not sending it back to them either. They have scammed so many people so they LOSE!!!
- I ordered their trial size and paid the s/h of $4.95 on my credit card. I called the company and told them not to send me any more product as it is worthless and does no good. Whoever I spoke to acknowledged my cancellation. Yesterday (February 28, 2009) I received another bottle. I do not want this and refuse to pay for it, but I cannot locate the phone number for the company now.
